Jiva Organics Coriander Seeds Review

I've been told I have an odd sense of taste. I would not think so; I favor myself as a rather simplistic foodie. However, one of my indulgences is a pasta dish with turkey and... whole coriander seeds! I know it's odd but I love the combo and it is interesting. I haven't had it in a long time but I was craving it recently and went to work in the kitchen, only to realize I'm out of coriander seeds! Thankfully, I was able to test out Jiva Organics Coriander Seeds at the right time.

These 100% USDA organic coriander seeds come in a resealable bag and contains 3.5 ounces of seeds. These seeds have a subtle spice to it that I am used to with other coriander seeds. I initially thought 3.5 ounces would not be a lot but compared to price per weight but it is. Not to mention that you only need a small amount of seeds to taste the spice.

I've used this for a few weeks and haven't experienced any issue regarding freshness. I also still have most of the bag leftover and plan to reorder when I eventually run out. I will update on how the package fares for the winter.

I have been in a weight slump for what seems like forever. Yes I've exercised, watched what I've eaten and done everything else to eliminate what I feel uncomfortable with. I'd heard about raspberry ketones frequently but never had a desire to use any supplement, including multi-vitamins.

You can either take 1 or 2 capsules a day with or without food or water. As mentioned, I usually take on in the day and depending on my schedule and what I've eaten, I may take another in the evening. I prefer to take this before I eat since it's supposed to suppress my desire to pig out.

While taking this, I have not experienced any ill effect like shaking, rashes, etc. Reaction to a supplement is dependent on the individual. On the other side, I have not seen a major difference in my weight or more importantly to me, my chubby bits. I may not have worked out as much nor used this as long for these raspberry ketones to work completely for me. However I am happy enough with the suppressant aspect of this as I can eat much less and not feel like a reject in life for stuffing my face constantly.

Surpahs Dual-S Body Fat Scale review

 

I've had an old manual scale for a longgg time. Almost as long as it's been around, which looks to be from the 80's. I haven't had any major complains from the numbers I've weighed but I've been wanting to get a new scale for a while. I'm glad I came across Surpahs' Dual-S Body Fat Scale.

It had the accuracy and sleekness I was looking for. And although it's white, which I usually avoid just because it seems "BLAH" to me, I think it looked nice and clean.

The Dual-S Body Fat Scale provides a more accurate measurement of your weight, in kilograms or pounds, by tracking your body fat, total body water, muscle mass, bone mass and how many kilo-calories you need to consume each day to keep your body weight. These 'smart' measurements are enabled by Bio Impedance Analysis (BIA) technology which is a more reliable method of measuring body composition under most conditions. However, since BIA is based on your body water balance, the state of hydration can affect the level of accuracy.

Despite the 23 mm thickness, the scale's high tempered glass platform and 4 G-Sensors can handle up to 330 lbs. Measuring at 11 x 9.6 inches the Dual-S Body Fat Scale is also the perfect fit for my feet and bathroom drawer.

Although it uses 4 AAA batteries, this scale relies on sensors to turn on and off so you don't have to worry about wasting batter power. The interface also has indicators for weight overload and low battery power. It can also store 4 different profiles that track each user's measurements.

I didn't realize at first but it's important to have this scale laying on a completely flat surface for it to work. The second time I used this on a 2 thin carpets overlapping each other, I could not get the sensors to work and turn on. I reinserted the batteries thinking there was an issue and finally moved to a tiled area. Only then did the scale detect my weight.

Overall, I like this scale and it's so sleek to have around. The biggest draw to this for me are the additional measurements it provides. I've been putting off getting a body fat calculator and now with this scale, I can rely on this for all relevant measurements to track my weight.
